Hi-Tor's Pet of the Week

Each week we highlight another wonderful adoptable pet available at Hi-Tor Animal Care Center (Rockland County's only animal shelter) located in Pomona, NY.

BENTLEY is a 1 yr. old neutered Staffordshire mix who was surrendered to us due to landlord issues. If you are looking for a dog to go hiking, jogging or biking with THIS IS YOUR DOG!! He was born to be your exercise companion! Or if you just like hanging out in your yard for a few hours a day, Bentley will happily hang out with you so long as you promise to play fetch with him every now and then (and then and….☺).

A fenced-in yard is a must for this energetic and bright boy! He also happens to enjoy the company of other dogs. He would fit nicely in any type of family although he would really thrive in a family who is active and dedicated to giving Bentley the attention he so deserves.

To adopt, please contact Hi-Tor Animal Care Center, 65 Firemens Memorial Drive, Pomona, NY. (845) 354-7900.

good point, Chris! I adopted a one-year-old Lab a year ago, and she definitely exercises our 12 year old pit-mix! But a pair of equally-high-energetic dogs playing together would be even better - great exercise for both!

Bentley got a wonderful home with a fenced in yard and two children to adore him. Sometimes good things come to those that must wait.
