Families encouraged to donate plants in Earth Day project to beautify Hutch
HUTCHINSON COURTYARD — Families are being encouraged to donate plants to celebrate Earth Day, which falls on April 22 this year.

HUTCHINSON COURTYARD — Families are being encouraged to donate plants to celebrate Earth Day, which falls on April 22 this year.
The PTA will plant the donated flowers around the school.

Here are the kinds of plants families can donate by grade:
- Kindergarten: cone flowers
- First grade: shasta daisies
- Second grade: purple salvia
- Third grade: catmit
- Fourth grade: black eyed susan’s
- Fifth grade: hosta
The flowers can be dropped off at school on April 19 or 20.

Parents will donate flowers to Hutchinson so we all can enjoy this activity.
