Fifth graders start ballroom dancing Dec. 16 with instructor Ivelisse Hornyak
HUTCHINSON GYM — The fifth graders are going to start ballroom dancing with instructor Ivelisse Hornyak on Dec. 16.

HUTCHINSON GYM — The fifth graders are going to start ballroom dancing with instructor Ivelisse Hornyak on Dec. 16. She will be teaching the Merengue, the Fox Trot, the Swing, the Waltz, the Rumba and the Tango.
Being in the ballroom-dancing competition is all about attitude, said Coach Jackie Soccodato, who teaches fifth grade. Students have to show they are better than all the rest of the dancers.

Mrs. Soccodato has been teaching a class on Tuesdays for anyone with a passion for dancing. There will only be six boys and six girls picked for the competition team. But whoever gets picked, good luck to you all.
