Fifth graders volunteer for Safety Patrol to help keep school calm

HUTCHINSON’S HALLWAYS — Many people look up to the Safety Patrol for tips to stay safe in school.
The volunteer fifth graders work hard to make our school a safer, better place to learn. They help kids walk in the hallway, stay quiet when going to or from recess, and much more.

“My favorite thing about safety patrol is that I know I can help kids stay safe in school,” Gabby, a fifth grader, told the Hutchinson Bear.
If you are a fifth grader, you can join the Safety Patrol to help more kids. Safety Patrol has posts at the front and back doors, and the kindergarten hallway at lunch.
