Pelham Music Festival features several performers from Hutchinson

PELHAM COUNTRY CLUB — Students from Hutchinson School participated in the Pelham Music Festival here on Feb. 4.

PELHAM COUNTRY CLUB — Students from Hutchinson School participated in the Pelham Music Festival here on Feb. 4.

Some members of Hutchinson’s orchestra run by Ms. Marcia Bean, orchestra teacher, joined with some of Prospect Hill’s orchestra to play Simple Gifts. From Hutchinson, the people playing Jack Hopkins, Andrei Pazelsky, Michael Salama and this reporter.

Soloists from Hutch at the Pelham Music Festival were Andrei, Teddy Cobo and Gabriela Hood.

In an interview, Ms. Bean said she is exited before conducting because she has done this a lot. She thinks the students put a lot of practice into their performances and did very well.
