Giving children an experience with the divine

Faith Formation as a Community and as a Family

Faith communities routinely face the challenge of providing the most worshipful experience possible for every member of their community, no matter their age. Families often face the challenge of how to best cultivate a home that provides spiritual nurture and faith formation.   Rev. Laurel Koepf, will be at Huguenot Memorial Church this coming Sunday, October 30 at 11:45 am to lead a workshop and share relevant best practices addressing both of these issues.

There are two activities largely considered ideal for individuals to experience, so they can best grow in their faith.  The first is to attend a faith communities worship services and observances.  The second is to participate in a home environment in which questions about spirituality and the divine are accepted and encouraged.  But how are these best created with children in mind?  With youth?  With Seniors?  I look forward to this workshop and with the guidance of her members, creating the best worship experiences possible at Huguenot Memorial Church every Sunday morning.
