Otters and Muskrats at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum. Otters and muskrats are adorable mammals that love wetlands. Come learn about their habits and then take a guided walk to our ponds to search for signs of muskrat activity.

The 10th Annual Pleasantville Music Festival. This family-friendly, volunteer driven event features vendors and exhibitors offering great food, beverages, crafts, public service information and more. A fantastic kids' fun area includes face painting, games and music.

Family Farm Tour at Stone Barns Center. On this family-friendly tour for ages 4 and up, explore the farm and some of our favorite seasonal highlights. Join us for a walk around the farm to take a closer look at the animals that we’re raising and the vegetables that we’re growing!

Campfire Kayak Tour at Hudson Highlands Nature Museum. Enjoy a summer evening taking a moonlit paddle on the Hudson River! Hosted by Storm King Adventure Tours, leave from Cornwall Landing and head out to a sandbar to enjoy a campfire and s'mores before heading back to shore.

Hands On: Egg Collecting at Stone Barns Center. Step into the shoes of a farmer and pitch in with the all-important job of collecting eggs. Head out to the egg-mobiles (mobile hen houses), learn how our hens enjoy pasture-based lives and take home a half-dozen farm-fresh eggs.

Meet the Bees: A Hands-on Adventure in the Apiary at Wave Hill. Get up close and personal with the bees of Wave Hill! Observe bee behavior in the gardens, then suit up in a hat and veil to peek inside a hive filled with 50,000 honeybees.

Discovering Wild Edibles with Wildman Steve Brill at Teatown Lake Reservation. Teatown is a rich natural area full of edible and medicinal wild plants and mushrooms. The trails that encircle the lake guarantee an abundance of many common summer herbs, greens, berries, and fungi.

Summer Birding at Wave Hill. Naturalist Gabriel Willow contributes his extensive knowledge of diverse bird species and their behavior on these captivating walks through the gardens and woodlands.

Tuffy's Great Adventure - A Puppet Show in the Hudson River Museum Amphitheater. Tuffy and his friends are having a sleep over party, and use their imagination to visit far off places for an unforgettable adventure.
