Miss Haley says Senior Dogs Rock!

Her Best Years Yet......

Miss Haley was surrendered to the Mt. Vernon Animal Shelter (http://www.mtvernonanimals.org/) by her family a couple of months ago.  After all those years with the same family then to be given up must be heart breaking to Miss Haley.  Quiet and to herself, Miss Haley takes her early morning walks with a volunteer, taking her time strolling up the hill from the shelter with her head dropped down slightly lower than it should be, yearning for the love she once knew.  A look of sadness crosses her face but her eyes still strong taking in everything around her including some of the younger, fiestier, lively dogs being walked by volunteers.  Although in her senior years, not quite as spry as she use to be, she still doesn't miss a trick.

Miss Haley, gentle and affectionate, and absolutely adores human attention.  She has no shame in showing how appreciative she is for your love.  Kisses and more kisses, she is all about expressing her loving self.   She is wonderful with children, calm and patient.  A super dog for any family with children but would do best in a single dog home.  She simply needs to be the one and only in your heart.

Miss Haley deserves a second chance with a family who is for keeps this time.
