Pelham's U16 team played St. Peter's Prep JV to start the day on Sunday. Pelham jumped out to a quick 19-0 lead in the first half on tries by prop Kevin Ndou, scrumhalf Luke Persanis and center Danny Maydwell. St Peter's battled back to close to a 31-21 halftime score. Pelham responded with a very strong second half, holding St Peter's to one try while scoring 37 points. Honorable mentions went to Luke Persanis (2 tries 1 conversion), Harry Fanning (1 try, 9 conversions) and Cian Burns for a strong performance at flyhalf. Man of the match was awarded to prop Christian Battaglia (1 try).

Lineup: Battaglia, Collins, Calamari, Ndou, Perez, Rabinowitz, Biskup, Westall (c), Persanis (c), Burns, Monaco, Johnson, Fanning, Maydwell, Killeen.

Subs (rolling subs in JV games): Pasa, Wallace, Scampoli, Galiani, Vigroux, Amato, Marshall.

Pelham's U14 team then took on Aspetuck from Connecticut. Pelham struggled mightily against a big, strong, well-coached Aspetuck, eventually falling 38-14.

The day finished with the Pelham U12 team playing Aspetuck, a great match with lots of back and forth. With two minutes left, it was 10-10. Pelham's Matyus Spunberg scampered down the left side of the pitch for a 60-yard try. For the next two minutes, Aspetuck hammered at the Pelham line, only to be turned away again and again by stout defense. Pelham won 15-10.

Next up: Pelham U16 travel to play Fordham Prep JV on Wednesday and next weekend the club hosts Essex County Rugby from Massachusetts with games for all three teams.
