Burglary Attempt During Friday Snow Storm

Pelham police answered an attempted burglary call during Friday's storm.

While the snow and wind swirled last Friday in the Village of Pelham, police were busy responding to reports of an attempted burglary and an overzealous laborer offering to shovel snow.

Around 8 p.m. Friday night, police responded to a house on Cliff Ave. to find the signs of an unsuccessful entry attempt: a broken basement window and footprints in the snow. The resident received an alarm alert while out of state and asked a relative to check on the house.
