Pelham man's friends send him home with head injury.

Here are some of the non-storm related cases being investigated by the Pelham Manor police department.

Scary Mask Stolen

A 20 year old man was arrested after a Manor Lane resident spotted 5 young men near their home on October 31 around 8 p.m. When police encountered the group, they discovered the young men had a baseball bat, 3 pocket knives and a Halloween hooded face mask with rats attached. The mask was a decoration taken from the house of the homeowner who called police.

On October 28, police were called to the parking lot of a Spring Rd business on a report of excessive noise. Police found several cars there. The drivers said they were headed to Hutchinson River Parkway and the officer suspected they might be preparing to drag race.

War of the Roses

A Bolton Rd resident filed a police report on October 28 after finding 2 voice recorders hidden in her car. The woman believes her estranged husband placed them there to eavesdrop on her. 

Don't Play With Them Anymore

Police responded to a call for medical assistance on October 28 around 6 p.m. from a man parked in his driveway on Esplanade. After an athletic game with friends, the man was experiencing head pain. The man's wife arrived and took him to Lawrence Hospital. 

Lock Your Car Doors

On October 27 police received two reports of larceny from unlocked cars. On Esplanade, a woman reported her car was left unlocked overnight with her purse on the back seat. In the morning, her wallet with $300 cash, credit card and a $500 Blackberry phone was gone.  

On Prospect Ave, another woman also reported on October 27 that her wallet and cash had been removed from a bag she left on the backseat of her unlocked car.

Outage, non-storm related

On the morning of October 26, a man living on the 4700 block of Boston Post Rd called police to complain that ConEd was at his house to shut off his power for non-payment.
