Iona Student Missing, Police Want Information

Brandi Hyndman has not been home since she was dropped off at Iona College Feb. 26.

An Iona College student has been missing for about a month and her parents have asked for the public's help.

New Rochelle Police Detective Capt. Joseph Schaller told the Journal News that Brandi Hyndman has not been home since she was dropped off at the college Feb. 26.

He told the paper the parents are distraught, but foul play is not suspected.

When contacted by New Rochelle Patch, Iona College spokeswoman Dawn Insanalli issued the following statement:

 "We were notified by New Rochelle Police Department officials on February 27 that the family of an Iona student, Brandi Hyndman, had reported her missing. The College has provided all requested information about her enrollment and known whereabouts."

A flyer describes Hyndman as an African-American female, with brown eyes and blond hair. She is 5 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.
