'Lockdown' Brings in Police from Throughout Westchester to Mount Vernon H.S.

Students allowed to leave from school.

Police from communities and law enforcement agencies throghout Westchester are at Mount Vernon High School this afternoon in response to an incident at the school.

School officials only described the incident as a "lockdown," although students have been allowed to leave the building.

The incident has drawn police from nearby communities including Bronxville and the Pelhams and Harrison, in addition to State Police.
