Pelham Manor Police Blotter: Shifty Fingers and Bloody Coconuts

A glance at recent investigations by the Pelham Manor Police Department.

5:40 p.m. Security at Pelham Fairway Market said that a suspect matching the description of a June/July fraud perpetrator at the store was seen trying to commit the same crime. Back in the summer, the suspect asked the cashier to exchange five $20 bills for one $100 bill. He then put the $100 bill in his right pocket. From his left pocket, he produced a $10 bill and claimed that the cashier gave him incorrect change. The cashier then gave a suspect another $100 bill. The suspect was confronted after he tried to repeat the crime and fled in a dark colored Nissan Maxima. Pelham Manor detectives are still investigating the case.
