2:30 p.m. A utility pole fell down onto a truck at Boston Post Road at the Hutchinson Parkway. The pole broke in two different locations, causing wires to spark and several wires to arc and strike the ground. It wasn't determined if the truck caused the utility pole to fall or if it fell on its own. Con Edison responded and replaced the utility pole, which took several hours.
