Pelham Manor police investigated a report of a naked man fondling himself near the New York Athletic Club on Traver Island a little after 1 p.m. on Wednesday.
Woman told police she was kayaking off the shore of the Athletic Club when she saw the man emerge from the water. The man reportedly fondled himself while looking at the kayaker.
The woman told police she has seen the man in the area before doing the same thing. She believes he leaves and arrives and leaves the area via bicycle. The woman said she took picture of the suspect before he left.
Pelham Manor police and the New Rochelle Police Department’s marine unit searched the area, but they were unable to locate the suspect.
The woman was referred to the New York City Police Departments 45th Precinct since the incident actually occurred in the Bronx.
