The Pelham police department held its annual awards ceremony at village hall Monday night.
Awards were presented for police officer achievements in 2010 and 2011. The award ceremony is normally held each year, but they were postponed in 2011.
"Although all Pelham officers perform their duties in an exemplaray fashion throughout the year, these events stood out as the best and worthy of special recognition," Joseph Benefico, the Pelham police chief, said Monday.
