Pelham Prepares for Snow Storm Friday

Residents, public workers and local businesses prepped for the snow forecasted to hit Pelham tomorrow.

Pelham is bracing itself for the potential of a significant winter storm on Friday. Some news outlets are forecasting as much as 12 inches of snow accumulation.

Public workers filled village trucks with sand and de-icing solutions on Sparks Ave. and pick-up trucks outfitted with plows were parked strategically along Fifth Ave. and Wolfs Lane.

At Pelham Lumber on Fifth Ave, sales of calcium chloride and rock salt were brisk and the aisles were fully stocked with snow shovels and windshield cleaners.
