Pelham Village Police Bust Underage Drinking Party

The young hostess confessed everything to police.

When Pelham police knocked on the door of a Chestnut Ave. residence last Friday night around 8 p.m., they were welcomed into what turned out to be quite a party.

According to police reports, a 16 year-old female who lived at the home opened the door and allowed police officers to enter. The police officers found 40 youths as well as liquor bottles and beer cans strewn through the living room and kitchen area.

The sixteen year old told police she planned the party for several days. Besides inviting an extensive list of young guests, the windows had also been taped to block prying eyes from peering in from outside. Loud music prompted the police complaint about the party.
