[PHOTOS] Flash Flooding in Pelham
Streets in Pelham Manor experiencing flash flood conditions.
The phones at the Village of Pelham Manor police department rang unceasingly mid- Friday morning with reports of street flooding along Pelhamdale Ave. Rain conditions that began early this morning temporarily overwhelmed underground drainage systems.
Police units and the public works department were dispatched to locations near Pelhamdale Ave. and Hillcrest Dr. as well as Bolton Ave.
Waters quickly retreated from the Hillcrest Dr. location, but residents in that area as well as near Reed Ave. may have water damage.
