Police: Peekskill Man, 60, Sold Heroin from Home

Henry Thomas is scheduled to appear in Peekskill city court on Nov. 26 after he was charged with counts of felony drug sales and possession earlier this month.

A 60-year-old Peekskill man will celebrate his 61st birthday in Westchester County Jail Saturday after he was arrested following an investigation into heroin sales in the area.

Henry Thomas, 60, was arrested and charged with three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance and a count of criminal possession of a controlled substance, all felonies, on Nov. 8 after a joint investigation by the city’s Narcotics Unit and the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.

Thomas was being investigated for allegedly conducting heroin sales from his home on 639 Belden St.

Investigators said they executed a search warrant at the suspect’s home with help from the city police department’s Tactical Response Unit and found 20 bags of heroin and a small amount of crack.

Thomas, who was born Nov. 17, 1951, was arraigned and sent to county jail without bail. His next court date is scheduled for Nov. 26 in city court.

All the more reason for a local meth clinic! Think Global, Act Local! Sad to see such a promising young actor forced to peddle smack on the streets. E.T., phone home. Elliot is on the horse.

Much more worried about crack houses and Heroin pedlers then the Meth clinic. . . Why does a small city with support services from the county and state need it's own Tactical Response Unit?
