Police: Reward for Locating Molester Suspect

Local police team up with Crime Stoppers to track down a man suspected of sexually abusing a seven-year-old girl.

Authorities are offering a reward of up to $2,500 for helping to nab the man who sexually assaulted a seven-year-old girl in the White Plains Walmart last month, police said.

The money is being offered by New York Crime Stoppers and the White Plains Department of Public Safety.

The girl was stalked by the man—caught on security cameras—throughout the store's sprawling aisles on April 20, where he waited for her to part with her parent, police said. He then lured the girl farther away and attacked at 6:48 p.m., cops said.
