Port Authority to Conduct DWI Checkpoints During Holiday Weekend

Checkpoints begin today.

Police from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey are conducting checkpoints for intoxicated drivers during the Veterans Day weekend.

The checkpoints, which begin today, will operate between the evening and early morning hours.

Drivers will be subject to random inspections during the checkpoints and police will distribute literature on the dangers of drinking and driving.
