Report: Pelham Man Confirmed Dead in Mexico
Harry Devert graduated from Pelham High School in 1999.
Harry Devert, a 33-year-old stock trader and graduate of Pelham High School, disappeared in Mexico while riding his motorcycle to the World Cup in Brazil, and now his remains have been identified, according to a report in The Journal News.
Devert’s remains and motorcycle were found near a Pacific Coast beach town about 16 miles from Zihuatanejo, one of his destinations, according to the report. His remains were identified through genetic testing.
The case, which was initially in the hands of state prosecutors in Mexico, has been referred to the country’s federal authorities.
