[VIDEO] Rye PD Commissioner Debriefs Hoax Invasion Incident

Rye Police Commissioner William Connors give a report on the hoax home invasion call on North Street Wednesday afternoon.

A hoax home invasion call set off a law enforcement response from the City of Rye and several surrounding jursidictions at about 2:50 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

Police Commissioner William Connors described how the incident was trigged by a TTY call relayed from the Village of Rye Brook Police Department. Connors said an investigation is underway to determine the source of the false alarm.
