Pelham Laundry

While the Laundromat is usually the go-to locale to find a missing sock or tank top, it was a lost baby possum that surfaced on Sunday at Pelham Laundry. Sgt. Borsella was called to the scene and transported the animal to safety.

9:58 p.m.

539 Second Ave.

In an effort to assuage his depression, a Pelham resident downed 10 Benadryl on June 11. The man soon felt the effects of the potent over-the-counter drug and the police were called to his home. Empress Ambulance transported him to Sound Shore.

June 11

12:12 a.m.

Track 4

A drunk female in her 20s exited the Pelham station and was noticeably stumbling on June 11. Another straphanger called the police and the intoxicated woman was retained until MTA police arrived to the scene.

10:25 p.m.

152 Fifth Ave.

“Hey Johnny, I got a new phone,” a man taunted another outside of Bistro Rollin. The instigator was pretty sure that the man he called out to, had stolen his cell, though he had no proof to offer police. Officers told the accuser to leave the other man alone.

June 7

1 p.m.

Pelham Middle School

Upon returning to classroom 155 after a fieldtrip, a student noticed that the iPod touch he had left on his desk at 9:30 a.m. was missing. Another class had convened in that room while he was gone.
