Village of Pelham Police Blotter: Phantom Boots and Boisterous Youth

A look at recent investigations by the Village of Pelham Police Department.

Here's a look at incidents investigated by the Village of Pelham Police Department recently.

May 17

A repeat traffic and parking code violator's car was given a boot this past week. On May 16, a male in his mid-20s came into the police station and requested that the boot be removed from the 2006 Ford Fusion. An officer advised the man to come back the next morning when he would be able to talk to the court clerk. However, the next morning the car and boot were nowhere to be found. The booted Fusion had been illegally moved between 11 p.m. the night of May 16 and 12:10 p.m. on May 17.  A registration check revealed the identity of the owner and Village of Pelham detectives are investigating.
