White Plains Man Killed in Yonkers Motor Vehicle Accident

The driver involved in the accident has not been charged, according to police.

 

Yonkers police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle accident that killed a bicyclist  earlier today at the intersection of Central Park Avenue and Arlington Street.

The accident took a place a little before 5:30 a.m. when a police found 67-year-old White Plains man unconscious and in cardiac arrest. Police said the man was riding his bike when he got involved in an accident with another vehicle.

The bicyclist was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle cooperated with police at the scene and has not been charged with anything at this time.

Police withheld the bicylclists identity, pending notification of his next of kin.
