Former President Clinton Rallies For Sean Patrick Maloney

Bill Clinton showed his support for Maloney's run for Congress on Sunday

Although he was on his way to Florida to assist President Barack Obama and Hurricane Sandy was inching closer to Westchester, former President Bill Clinton took time Sunday to show his support for Sean Patrick Maloney.

Maloney is running against incumbent Nan Hayworth in New York's 18th Congressional District and held a rally Sunday at Somers High School. Clinton stopped by, but had to cut his visit short so he could make it to the airport before it closes for the storm.

Still, he was there long enough to throw his support behind Maloney, who was a senior advisor in Clinton’s White House.

“Being elected to Congress is a job,” Clinton, a Chappaqua resident, said. “It requires a preference for evidence over ideology or artihmatic over allusion, for shared prosperity over trickle down or where we’re all in this together versus you’re on your own. This is not a complicated decision.”

Maloney said it was an honor for Clinton to still attend the rally even thought he was on his way out of town.

I am very curious Francis, how would you feel if what i heard over a CB radio is true. http://www.gregpalast.com/uaw-files-charges-against-romney-on-his-auto-bail-out-profiteering/ Now i know what most people who lean right are going to say, but i am curious what you have to say.I also wonder why Bloomberg and the economist are now backing Obama, could it be a conspiracy or could it be they see Romney is dangerous for our country.

Bruiser, two things the Washington post is backing Romney and there are four dead Americans because of poor security. Their deaths are on Obama and his administration. Those are the facts and you can't spin them. .

Francis please explain to me what spin,i posted an article from the washinton post so again tell me what spin.I made a statement that i refuse to make judgement until all the facts are in,and i will stick to that no matter who likes it,as for the charge the UAW is making ,again i was not the one who wrote the article,as i stated i heard it first over the CB and had my wife look it up,and low and behold it's true they did make the charge.I will wait on that charge until all the facts are until i decide to pass judgement,i happen to believe in your innocent until proven guilty and if i listen to you Obama is already guilty.I also thought that people who lean right believe in these sorts of things,or is it you only believe in it when it seems to help your cause. If you would answer the question i asked about the UAW charge,if it's true how would you feel about that,i believe you are the one who is trying to spin.
