If you're missing weekly trips to the farmers' market, look no further than Pleasantville.

The Pleasantville Indoor Farmers' Market marked its grand opening in the village following a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at the Pleasantville Middle School on Saturday morning.

The new venture is backed by the Village of Pleasantville and is run by the new non-profit organization Foodchester.

This morning, an eager crowd picked favorite foods including fruits, vegetables, meats, fish, pickles, cakes and other treats.

Theresa ,Patricia You two are too funny! I have to admit it is the stoooooopid people that live there that give it the impression of being a great place to live I moved from there last year and would never go back. Property values are dropping in pville and taxes are soaring.Sad place to live
