Pelham Schools Closed Rest of Week, Halloween Postponed

Pelham Schools closed Thursday and Friday.

This is an announcement from the Town Supervisor and the Mayors of the Village of Pelham and Pelham Manor regarding Halloween and Community Services and from the Superintendent of School and Board of Education regarding school closings. 

Due to power outages, inoperable traffic and street lights, downed wires and debris on sidewalks, Halloween trick or treating is canceled for today October 31st.

It is strongly recommended that trick or treating take place on Saturday November 3rd as early as possible and be completed by 7pm.

Due to the public safety concerns mentioned, the school district will remain closed Thursday and Friday November 1st and 2nd. 

Additionally the Hutchinson, Colonial, Siwanoy, and the Middle School gymnasiums will be open from 8am to 8pm through Friday to allow community members to charge phones and laptops or allow use of our refrigeration for medications storage only.

The Pelham Town House will be open 24 hours continuously through 8pm on Friday as an emergency shelter and for charging phones and laptops for Pelham Residents.
