The Pelham town and school boards are scheduled to meet tonight.
During the town board meeting, which begins at 7 p.m inside , officials will hold a public hearing on the tentative budget for 2012. Trepresents a -5.8 percent, or $212,534.47, decrease from this year’s budget.
The tentative budget would carry a tax levy of $1,570,757.55, which represents an increase of about 1.84 percent from this year’s levy. Final budget approval is scheduled to take place on Dec. 19.
The Pelham school board meeting is scheduled to start 7 p.m. at the Pelham Middle School. The board will move into executive session before starting the public portion of its meeting at 8 p.m., inside the middle school library.
