Pelham Voters Take Different Direction With Republicans

Pelham voters replace incumbents with Republican candidates.

The County Board of Elections posted the vote tally very shortly after the polls closed on Tuesday night. 

Pelham voters decided to replace current Democratic Mayor Ed Hotchkiss and Trustees Geoff Lewis and Suzan Marciona with a slate of Republican challengers. 

Mayor-elect Tim Cassidy, who previously served on the Board of Trustees from 2000 to 2004, is a Pelham native and father of three who is active with the several local civic causes including Pelham Picture House, Pelham Library and Pelham Art Center.

Cassidy and trustee candidates Susan Mutti, Joe Senerchia and Mike Volpe ran on a unified platform of fiscal responsibility.

Mutti, Senerchia and Volpe will replace Deputy Mayor Geoff Lewis and Trustee Suzan Marciona.
