Revitalizing Downtown Pelham
Members of The Pelville Beautification Committee say their basket hanging effort is one of many critical steps in revitalizing our downtown area.
Do you want to help spruce up downtown Pelham? The Pelville Beautification Committee is asking for donations for flower baskets to hang in the downtown area.
The committee says a donation of $20 should be enough to cover the cost of one flower basket. The Pelville Beautification Committee is asking for the donations because the municipality is no longer providing cash for the baskets due to budget constraints.
The hanging of the flower baskets is an annual tradition here in Pelham. If you would like to pitch in and make a donation, you just need to drop your contribution off at Pelham Realty on Fifth Avenue. Or you can mail your donation to The Pelville Association. It's address is 39 Sixth Street, Pelham, NY 10803. The forms for the donation can be found here.
