Despite ongoing power outages and clean-up following Hurricane Sandy last week, the Pelham school district has decided to re-open Monday morning.
The school district ended up cancelling classes every day last week after Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast with a huge wallop. While Pelham was spared of flooding, many residents experienced extended power outages and there has been widespread property damage due to falling tree branches and debris.
The Board of Education will hold its regular meeting tonight in Pelham Memorial High School at 8 p.m.
