Palliative Care Seminar: Pain Management, End-Of-Life Choices & Recent NY Legislation

On Sunday, January 29, 2012, The Wartburg will host a free seminar on Palliative Care.  David C. Leven, JD, Executive Director of Compassion & Choices of New York and a leading advocate for patients and families for improved healthcare, palliative care and end-of-life care, will be the keynote speaker.  Mr. Leven will talk about pain management, making end-of-life choices and recent  New York State legislation he helped to initiate.  Following his address, there will be a panel discussion with The Wartburg’s medical, administrative, nursing and social work staff.  Continue the conversation over a light supper.  Advance registration is required.
