Start Your School Year Healthy Workshop

The healthier children eat in the early years, the healthier they are likely to eat, and be, as adults. Children believe what their parents tell them. They copy what their parents do, and they carry into adulthood their knowledge about the way their parents did things. Much of what kids learn in their early years of life will influence their behavior for as long as they live.

This is one reason why it is so important for parents to feed their children healthy meals. Children's beliefs about what to eat are formed early, and the ideas about food that are learned in childhood influence our eating patterns and health as adults. You want your child to grow up believing that we feel good when we are healthy, and good health comes from making wise food choices.

In this 2 1/2 hour workshop learn to shape young tastes and choose healthier alternatives to favorite snack and lunch time foods. $50 includes vegan dinner.
