The Many Potentials of Aging: Wellness, Wisdom and Spirituality

The WJCS Senior Program is sponsoring “The Many Potentials of Aging: Wellness, Wisdom, and Spirituality” on Wednesdays (July 11 & 25 and August 8) from at 11AM – 12 noon at Sinai Free Synagogue, 550 N. Columbus Avenue, Mt. Vernon.

Designed with the active senior community in mind, the sessions will be by Ruth Rosenblum, LCSW, who conducts courses in meditation and spirituality through the WJCS Jewish Spiritual Healing Center and Partners in Caring programs. Participants can attend one or all three sessions, which will help bring new perspectives and appreciation to the aging process and to what it might offer, with participatory activities ranging from “chair yoga” to Jewish meditation, poetry to ethical wills and discussion.

The fee is $5 per session or $10 for the entire series. To register or for more information, contact Senior Programs Director Rabbi Andy Bossov at 914-668-4350.
