Town Historian Blake Bell speaks about the history of Huguenot Memorial Church

Huguenot Memorial Church is celebrating its 135th anniversary by holding a two-part educational series on the history of Huguenot Memorial Church. Sunday, December 4th, join us for a lecture by Pelham Town Historian Blake Bell. Mr. Bell has developed a fascinating narrative, with photos, describing the origins and early growth of “The Little Red Church” in 1876, along with interesting insights into life in general during that era of Pelham’s history.

The following Sunday, December 11th, join us for coffee hour in the chapel from approx 11:45 - 1pm during which you will have the opportunity to view an extraordinary collection of photos assembled by Margaret Highland, Huguenot's volunteer archivist and also Director of Education and Curator at the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum.  Margaret and Tom Buchanan will be on hand to answer questions and share insights about the photos and provide additional background about Huguenot's history.

These events are open to the entire community. Childcare is available. For more information contact Louise Kelly at louisepricekelly@gmail.com.
