Naomi Brickel at Pelham SEPTA Next Week

Effective parent participation will be the topic of special guest Naomi Brickel's visit to Pelham SEPTA next Wednesday.

 

Next Wednesday, February 13, 2013, there will be a presentation from guest speaker Naomi Brickel on effective parent participation in the special education process. The presentation will be held at the Pelham Middle School Library, 28 Franklin Ave, at 7:30pm.

Brickel directs the Hudson Valley Special Education Parent Center and the Transition Resource Center, at the Westchester Institute for Human Development. The purpose of the Special Education Parent Center is to educate parents so that they can participate more meaningfully and collaborate more effectively in the special education process.
