Hutchinson Elementary School students from Mrs. Jeneane Salerno's fifth-grade class served as Peer Tutors throughout the year for the Southern Westchester BOCES Experential Learning Program.

The fifth grade students came after lunch to the class and would do puzzles, read books and play with the students.

“Exl students loved to have their friends come and spend time with them,” said Janine Laruccia, a teacher in the Experiential Learning class.
