Pelham High's Art Salon

The exhibition will feature artwork by students from Pelham and other nearby districts.

It's a great opportunity to see works of art from Pelham High's students. "The High School Art Salon" features work from advanced placement and upper-level art classes here in Pelham and other communities. Here are the details from the Pelham Art Center.

Pelham Art Center is delighted to announce the return of its high school student show (last year entitled "Advanced Art Student Exhibition"). The exhibition will feature artwork by students in advanced placement (AP) or upper-level art classes from four local high schools: Bronxville High School, Mount Vernon High School, New Rochelle High School, and Pelham Memorial High School. Over 60 works in a variety of media will be shown. For many of the artists, this exhibition will be the first time they show their works in public, and Pelham Art Center is proud to be a part of it.

AP art courses are designed for upper level high school students who are interested in pursuing art with added intensity. Many are preparing art portfolios as part of their applications to college.
