Pelham's 'Cocktails and Clams'

Pelham Children's Center spring fundraiser will be held on May 17.

Pelham Children’s Center spring fundraiser, “Cocktails and Clams,” will be held on Friday, May 17th from 7-11pm.  This more casual evening will welcome in the warm spring months with cocktails, clams and barbeque fare under the stars at Pelham Bay & Split Rock Golf Courses.
 
“We are so grateful for the support of individuals and businesses in Pelham.  This wonderful community founded the Pelham Children’s Center in 1970, recognizing that early childhood education is the most critical step we can take to give all children a chance to succeed,” said Sydney Thayer, Board President of the Pelham Children’s Center.  “Our community continues to be incredibly generous with the Children’s Center through our spring gala and other fundraisers. This generosity allows us to stay true to the mission of providing high-quality and affordable education to all families, from 7:30am to 6pm, 5 days a week and 51 weeks a year.”
 
At this year’s event auctioneer, Ron Clark, will once again excite guests with his charismatic Irish brogue.  Guest will have an opportunity to bid on a wide variety of auction items including an escape to California’s Wine County, a peaceful week watching the waves beachfront in South Carolina, Disney Parkhopper Passes, a “Day at the Races” at Belmont Park, Yankees tickets, a private wine-tasting party for 10, tennis lessons, an in-home design consultation, a 3 night stay at Round Hill Resort in Jamaica, an Elizabeth Arden make-up party, tickets to see the Indigo Girls live in concert in NYC, an exquisite piece of jewelry from La Gravinese, summer camp and much more!
