Pelham School Board Elects Officers, Reorganizes

The Pelham School District Board elected officers and installed board members at its recent reorganizational meeting.

Lisa Kiernan was re-elected president. Trustee Will Cavanagh was elected vice president.

New board member Thomas Imperato was sworn in. He was elected to fill the seat vacated by Dr. Martha Arden, who decided not to run for re-election.

In other reorganization resolutions, Stephanie A. Pollock was reappointed district clerk. Keane and Beane, PC, was retained as counsel at a $32,000 yearly retainer. The Journal News and The Pelham Weekly were designated official newspapers.

The board of education's next regular meeting is Monday, August 26, 2013.
