"Stuff a Bus" Comes to Pelham Schools

The Pajama Program begins its annual "Stuff a Bus" campaign next week at the Pelham school district.

The Pajama Program of Westchester’s annual “Stuff a Bus” tour kicks off next week in Pelham.

The Pajama Program, which is in its 10th year, is national nonprofit organization that invites community members to come together and donate books and pajamas to children across the country. More than 880,000 pajamas and books have been donated nationwide.

“Stuff a Bus” is the program’s annual fall drive to get as many books and pajamas to local children before Thanksgiving.

The bus will stop at elementary schools in the Pelham school district on Monday, Oct.31 and take pickup  items that will be distributed locally.  Parents are asked to donate pajamas and books for the program.

Here is the schedule the bus will follow on Monday, October 31st:

9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m., first Stop— Colonial Elementary.

10:15 a.m. to 10:35 a.m., second stop—Siwanoy Elementary

11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m., third stop—Prospect Hill Elementary

11:40 a.m. to noon, fourth stop—Hutchinson Elementary
