Iona Prep defensive back Justin Combs recently committed to play football at UCLA. Combs stole spotlight from his famous father, rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs when he made the announcement. The Bruins will play in the Pac-12 championship game this Friday, just days after firing head coach Rich Neuheisel.

The Pelham Recreation is accepting applications for several winter programs. Applications for all of the events can be found here. Basketball isn’t the only sport being offered this season. If interested you can also take a look at ballroom dancing, karate, zumba or several other athletic activities.

The Harlem Wizards will take on the Port Chester Middle School Faculty in a basketball game this Thursday. The game will be held in the middle school’s gymnasium and doors will open at 6:30.
