Pelham Daily Sports Digest: Pelham Hockey Set to Play Massena

The Top Spot:

Tonight the Pelicans will travel to take on the Massena Red Raiders, and as of right now the Section 1 Hockey website has the start time as “TBA”.

Pelham goes into Friday night’s contest atop the WRPDIIHL Conference II with an overall record of 11-5-1 and an unblemished conference record of 5-0. Pelham ranks second in the conference in goals scored with 81, and first in goals allowed with 40.

Pelham is riding a three game streak without a loss and they will be playing in Massena tonight and tomorrow before coming back to wrap up the season on Wednesday against Scarsdale at the Ice Hutch. While in Massena the Pelicans are taking on Massena tonight and Salmon River tomorrow. 

Colin Reilly currently leads the team in goals scored with 14 and Andrew Schauer leads the team with 16 assists.

Josh Borofsky leads the Pelican defense in goal saving 204 of 224 shots this season giving him a save percentage of 91.1.

In ice hockey, Pelham will head to Massena to play Massena in a non-region game.
