Pelham had a rough day athletically as the boy’s soccer team lost a close game to one of the best teams in the league and the girl’s swim team fell at New Rochelle to Ursuline.

Sport: Boy’s Soccer

Game: Bronxville @ Pelham

Score:  Bronxville Won 2-1

Highlights: Bronxville continued their stellar season on the strength of goals from Nick Capasso and Brewster Warble. Joey Colvin had an assist and goaltender Jack Conners had three saves in the win. In the loss Pelham got a Charlie Livingstone goal off of a Gerardo Flores-Ramirez pass and the Pelicans got solid defense from goalie Luke Szendiuch.

 

Sport: Girl’s Swimming

Game: Pelham @ Ursuline

Score:  Ursuline Won 90.5- 71.5

Highlights: Ursuline beat the Pelicans easily at New Rochelle College yesterday. Isabel Shipman dominated the 200 freestyle for the Koalas with a time of 1:57.54. Ursuline’s Madeline Simone and Kelly Amar also took first and second in the 200 individual medley. It was a rough day for Pelham but Elisabeth Schauer won the 100 freestly and Sarah Dunbar took first in the 500 freestyle.

 

Today’s Schedule:

In field hockey, Pelham will head to Hastings for a 4:15 matchup.
