Game: Eastchester vs. Pelham
Score: Pelham Won 3-0
Highlights: Pelham picked up the section title as they beat Eastchester in straight sets 25-18, 25-10, 25-11. Helen Fandler led the Pelicans with 15 kills, and Megan Krause added 11. Amy DePippo had 10 assists for Eastchester in the loss.

Game: Pelham @ Tappan Zee
Score: Tappan Zee Won 43-19
Highlights: Joe Miller, Jack Powers and Akiel Anthony each scored once but it wasn’t enough to propel the Pelicans past the surging Dutchman.
Sport: Girl’s Soccer
Game: Pelham @ John Jay
Score: John Jay Won 1-0
Highlights: Hannah Wear scored the game’s only goal in the second half. Clair Fogarty had nine saves in the loss.
Sport: Boy’s Cross Country
Game: Section 1 Championships Class B
Score: Pelham 262 (11th Place)
Highlights: Freshman Matt Baffuto finished in 16th with a time of 17:33.22 while Nathaniel Scinta came in 30th for the Pelicans.
Sport: Girl’s Cross Country
Game: Section 1 Championships Class B
Score: Pelham 169 (6th Place)
Highlights: Nicki Nesi led the Pelicans as she finished in tenth overall with a time of 20:14.96.

The preliminaries for the Section 1 girl’s swimming championship will be held at Felix Festa middle school.
