“I am really excited for next year,” said Schauer, “I chose Bryant because there is a good balance between academics, swimming and social life.”

Schauer says that one of her favorite parts about Bryant is her future coaching staff, and right now the team is setting high expectations for next year.

“There goal is to win the NEC conference meet.” Said the Pelham senior, “I’ll be swimming mostly 100 and 200 Backstroke and hopfully making top eight for points toward winning.”

With one look at Schauer’s times from this season you can tell that she is an elite athlete, and more importantly you can see that she continued to improve throughout the year. With the dedication in and out of the pool that Schauer embodies it’s obvious that Bryant is getting one great athlete.
